Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack has now signed off on $400,000 in funding, achieving an important milestone towards works beginning on the Eden Inclusive Play Space project.
Senator Perin Davey said the project would be a big win for the local community in Eden.
“We are investing in this project because we understand how important local community infrastructure is,” Senator Davey said.
“The families of Eden deserve this play space and we are funding it.”
Senator Jim Molan said the investment was another example of the Federal Government delivering for the people of Eden-Monaro.
“We committed this project to the people of Eden at the 2019 Federal Election and this step is proof we are following through as only the Liberal and Nationals Government can,” Senator Molan said.
“We will always deliver for the people of Eden-Monaro.”
The project will be delivered by Bega Valley Shire Council.
